Bronzeville Art On the Park
Bronzeville Art on the Park is our annual mini-mural festival & walking gallery that Features themed commissioned panels by local artists – painted and displayed on at the MPACC Box Park. Annually, we bring together Artists, young and old, new and pro, to paint mini-murals that live all year for the neighborhood to engage.
For this year’s Bronzeville Art On The Park, the theme is Deliver Black Dreams: Black Joy.
Deliver Black Dreams was created in 2020 to complement the ongoing narrative strategy of organizations that fight for racial equity and to amplify Black voices in all spaces. At the Maroon Arts Group we use public art as a launch point to achieve said equity. We ask that you consider aspects of Black culture and what incites happiness in yourself, your peers and the community. We encourage you to interpret this theme in a way that resonates with your personal artistic vision and style.

- 4’x4′ boards for painting
- Basic paint colors
Artist stipend What You Should Bring:
- Any additional paint supplies you prefer to use.
- This does include spray paint, brushes, acrylic paint, etc.
- Lawn chair
